Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation

The pelvic floor consists of several layers of muscles that cover the bottom of the pelvic cavity. These muscles have several distinct roles including pelvic organ support (bladder, uterus, and colon), assisting in defecation and urination as well aid in sexual appreciation.
A dysfunction of the muscles results in inability to properly activate the muscles for bowel and bladder functions as well as organ support and sexual activity.
Pelvic rehabilitation will assist each patient to take control over their symptoms while enjoying getting more active and well.
Dr. Potter is trained in both Female and Male Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation as well General Orthopedic Rehabilitation.
Connective Tissue Rehabilitation

Connective tissue is a broad term that encompasses a variety of tissue types, but their purpose is the same: to connect organs, tissue, and muscles together. Connective tissue can refer to tissue within organs, tissue involving bones, or the tissue that connects our skin to our muscles.
Some people may have a genetic disorder like EDS, or immune systems disorder like Rheumatoid Arthritis, or idiopathic connective tissue inflammation like Fibromyalgia. Most patients will presents with multi-body part dysfunctions (all joints, all ligaments, generalized pain and so on).
